Meet Dr. Debbie
Dr. Deborah (Debbie) Sedaghat is a highly trained pediatric dentist dedicated to providing gentle, conservative, and holistic dental care for children of all ages. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry, graduating with honors, and went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Northwell Health. Dr. Debbie further advanced her expertise through a Special Needs Dental Care Fellowship and a Pediatric Dental Residency at Stony Brook University, where she gained extensive experience treating children with diverse needs in both clinical and hospital settings.
Her passion extends far beyond the dental chair. Throughout her career, Dr. Debbie has been deeply involved in community outreach—visiting schools, volunteering at the Special Olympics, and providing dental care for children in shelters and underserved communities. She has a special commitment to children with developmental disabilities, drawing from her advanced training in neurodevelopmental care to ensure every patient feels safe, respected, and understood.
Fluent in English, Farsi, and proficient in Spanish and Hebrew, Dr. Debbie connects easily with families from all backgrounds. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys soccer, Krav Maga, and creating intricate henna art. Warm, approachable, and deeply skilled, Dr. Debbie combines clinical excellence with a nurturing touch—making every visit at Precious Smiles Pediatrics a positive experience for both children and parents.
